Porto-Vecchio dans le département dans le Corse du sud dans la région Corse.
Les établissements débitant de boissons pour vendre des boissons alcoolisées en accompagnement de repas, dans la ville de Porto-Vecchio doit être titulaire des licences de restaurant « grande licence restaurant » ou licence snack « petite licence restaurant ».

Les débits de boissons temporaires à Porto-Vecchio sont aussi soumis à la licence.

Un restaurateur qui vend des boissons uniquement à l'occasion des repas et comme accompagnement à la nourriture, il doit être titulaire d'une licence de restaurant dans le département dans le Corse du sud.

Si la vente d'alcool a lieu aussi en dehors des repas (bar), il doit être détenteur d'une licence IV de débit de boissons à consommer sur place.

Les établissements possédant une licence de restaurant ou licence 4 de débit de boissons à consommé sur place à Porto-Vecchio on le droit de vendre à emporter les boissons autorisées par leur licence.

Avant une ouverture il faut faire une déclaration à la Mairie de Porto-Vecchio , l'exploitant à l’issu de la formation se voit remettre une attestation de formation lui permettant de prouver sa possession de la licence, même s'il ne comporte pas la garantie du droit d'exploiter un débit de boisson.
Depuis juin 2011, la déclaration de profession , auprès du bureau des douanes n'est plus nécessaire.
